Happy #SweetheartSunday! Robyn (Humphries) Britt ’99 married William Sean Britt ’98 on September 3, 2000 at The Pierpont in Ventura, Calif. The couple met at Monte Vista Middle School in Camarillo, Calif. Their love story according to Robyn: “William (goes by Sean) and I actually met in junior high, and went to junior high and high school together. We were acquainted, but not close friends. Sean graduated a year before me and I knew he went to Chapman, but didn't keep in touch. One day, walking through Argyros, I ran into Sean as he was eating. I was a freshman and he was a sophomore. We associated with the same group and would see each other at social events occasionally. When I was a junior and Sean a senior, one of Sean's friends had a crush on me. They would come by a lot. Clueless as I was, I started to notice Sean, not his friend. Sean felt the same. Ever the gentlemen, Sean asked his friend if he could ask me out and his friend said yes. We started dating in 1998 and were married in 2000. We have been married for 15 years and have two boys, Ethan, 11, and Murphy, 4. We always say that if Sean's friend had said no, we would've been unable to date. So thank you, Josh, for saying yes.” Alumni in the wedding party included Sara (Pocock) Tisdell, Todd Tisdell, Chris Hacker and Josh Mikus-Mahoney.

Happy #SweetheartSunday! Dominick Gaitan ’08 (MBA ’14) married Cinzia (Pinamont) Gaitan (MBA ’14) on September 5, 2015 in Villa Antonia in Austin, Tex. The couple met at the MBA graduate lounge during MBA orientation. Their love story according to Dominick: “Cinzia and I met the first day of MBA orientation. I was immediately attracted to her as she strolled in 15 minutes late, but knew I needed to stay focused on my studies. Turns out not only was she beautiful, but she was even more brilliant. We became quick friends and study partners. It wasn't until a class trip down to Brazil that we finally were no longer ‘just friends.’ During our capstone, we were reviewing a case study on eHarmony and if they would surpass the dating website Chemistry.com. I was deep in other thoughts when called upon to give my opinion, to which I replied, "I believe chemistry will win." Of course Dr. Kamal asked why, to which I replied, "Because of the chemistry Cinzia and I have. No dating website could ever replace our chemistry." After a few awkward laughs and stares I realized that Dr. Kamal was in fact referring to Chemistry.com and not our chemistry. We were engaged just a few weeks later and the rest is history.” Alumni in the wedding party included Harrison Dull ‘08, Ian Galanis ’08 and Brandon Koller ’08.

Happy #SweetheartSunday! Leika (Arrieta) Bishop ’05 married Christopher (C.J.) Bishop ’05, ‘08, ’18 on May 27, 2015 in Laguna Beach, Calif. Their love story according to Leika: “We were both invited to Chappy Hour by our college roommates (Chris Becerra ’05, ’08 and Kelsey [Smith] Flewellen ’05) and were excited to reconnect with college friends living locally. Leika just moved back to town and C.J. just reconnected with his college roommate. Excited about these monthly meet ups all over Orange County, we attended the first Chappy Hour in Newport at Classic Q. That night, we were reintroduced—we don’t remember knowing each other in college, but our Facebook friendship, common friends and being Presidents of our Greek organizations at the same time said otherwise. After that night, we started spending more time together, including attending summer concerts at Hart Park and hosting dinners. Fast-forward almost exactly three years later, and here we are together all because of Chappy Hour.” Alumni in the wedding party included Kelsey (Smith) Flewellen '05, Jessica (Cho) Johnston '05, Melissa (Mendez) Cuervorst '05, Breana Arrieta '17, and Chris Becerra '05 and '08.
