Centro Comunitario de Educación offers students, faculty and community members the opportunity to host reading and parent education programs, teen mentoring, adult classes and special events. #FunFactFriday: CES Distinguished Professor Peter McLaren is the author and editor of nearly 50 books and his writings have been translated into more than 25 languages. Five of his books have won the Critic's Choice Award of the American Educational Studies Association.
