TUNE IN FEBRUARY 12: That's when we'll find out which one of these ten FINALISTS, which include Chapman University music alum Keith Hancock ('02), wins the 2016 GRAMMY® Music Educator Award to be announced at the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards held in Los Angeles at Staples Center. Hancock is the choral director at Tesoro High School and was also named a quarter-finalist for the 2017 Music Educator Award, along with fellow CoPA alum Teren Shaffer. #ChapmanU #Music #GRAMMY

GRAMMY NEWS: Two CoPA alumni have been named quarter-finalists for the 2017 GRAMMY® in the Schools Music Educator Award: Keith Hancock ('02) who serves as Choral Music Director at Tesoro High School in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, and Orange County School of the Arts Dean of Arts Conservatories Teren Shaffer ('09). Semi-finalists will be announced in May 2017. Hancock was also named a semi-finalist for the 2016 Award; the winner will be announced at the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards held on February 12, 2017. Congratulations, and best wishes to them both for further advancement in the competition! #ChapmanU #Music #GRAMMY
