Dean's Take: This is a nice primer on why numbers have very little meaning on their own. It takes numerical context to make data meaningful. Values can get larger or smaller, or we can have more or less of something, but without knowing precisely how those numbers are changing relative to where they started, or how things are changing in a more global sense, we actually know very little. #STEM #data
